Reed was born and raised in New
Orleans, where he started deejaying at the age of 16. He spun there until
1991, when he moved to Connecticut and continued to work as a DJ, travelling
back & forth to NYC to study the talents of influences like Junior Vasquez,
Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Danny Tenaglia. In 1996, Reed established
New York as his permanent home and since then has enjoyed spinning in the
company of many other DJ legends and inspirations. During his 20 years of
DJing, Reed has remained true to his musical roots. He studied music theory
at an early age and was trained for the opera & musical theatre, as well
as choreographic design. His scholastic achievements resulted in a degree
in radio, which continued to fuel his love for music. With a vast collection
of records & CDs spanning over 3 decades, Reed's style is an eclectic
blend of club genres, including progressive house, tribal, electronic, circuit,
hi-nrg, soul and classics. He has also gained a reputation as an accomplished
video editor, with his works being seen in clubs all over the world. The
culmination of his experience has led him to the point in is life where production
is now his passion as well as deejaying.
Reed maintains regular appearances in New York and the US
for major events, as well as abroad. His production work is a testament to
his ability, not only as DJ/producer, but also as a songwriter. He has been
in the industry for 20 years, and has only recently decided to take his career
to the next level, which is performance. Be on the lookout for his upcoming
